Grand Golf Responds to COVID-19 [Update]
The health of our residents and staff is a top priority at Sun City Grand. Sun City Grand recognizes the pandemic of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and is taking necessary measures to respond to the health safety risks. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, we know that older adults and people who have serious chronic medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and lung disease, are at a higher risk of getting very sick from this illness. For such reasons, the Sun City Grand Board of Directors and Community Association Management are implementing mitigation precautions to reduce the likelihood of our residents coming in contact with COVID-19.
Management wants to remind all golfers not to gather before or after your round. After your round, please leave the property and head home. This is for everyone’s safety.
-Starting today until further notice, the golf shops will not be accepting any returns. If you have a return, hold on to it, and we will do it at a later time.
-The staff has been keeping at least one door propped open for you, so you don’t have to touch the doors.
-Remember that the snack bars can check you in and keep you from having to go into the golf shop.
-Please remember to keep your social distancing on the courses as well. Pay close attention to the tee boxes and the greens.
-The golf shops are no longer taking cash or checks.
-When entering the golf shop, please pay your fees quickly and then leave.
-Remember, you can make your tee times online or by calling us.
The staff will continue to evaluate all areas of the operation and make the necessary changes when needed. We appreciate your support and understanding during this time.
