We hope to see you there!
2019 Board of Directors Election
Just a reminder that voting has started today for the Board Election. As you know there are 3 candidates and 3 open positions, so whether you vote or not they will be seated on April 1. According to our present Bylaws we still must hold an election. This will change once residents pass the consent vote to change them. However, the vote total that each candidate receives is still very important. Should a recall of a candidate need to occur they can only be recalled by the number of votes they received plus one. Also remember that online voters will be entered in a drawing for an iPad and if 3500 electronic votes are cast, a second iPad will be awarded.
If you did not receive an e-mail today from our vendor Vote-Now, containing your unique code, you can still vote online by clicking here. Have your unique code ready (it was included in the letter you received from Vote-Now).
If you prefer, you can pick up a paper ballot in the Palm Center Phoenix Room between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday until February 11. You can drop your paper ballot off in the box at the Palm Center Welcome Desk for scanning to the vendor, or you can mail it back to our vendor, Vote-Now. All Mail-In paper ballots must be received by the vendor by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019. 4:00 p.m. on February 11 is also the deadline for paper ballots to be dropped off at the Welcome Desk.
If you haven’t cast your vote by February 12, come to the Computer Club in the Chaparral Center on February 12 between 9:00 a.m. and 12 noon where members of the Computer Club will help you vote. Be sure to bring your unique code with you as the voting will be done electronically. The code can be found on the letter that was sent to you earlier.
