News of the Day at Grand!

Congratulations to our three candidates!!!!

There were a total of 2778 votes cast. Of those, only 66 were paper ballots.

2522   Earle Greenberg
2505   Alan Meyer
2350   Eugene Neigoff

The three candidates will be seated on April 1, 2019.

P.S. The Grand Election Team is already gearing up for 2020 when there will be 4 open positions on the Board. It’s not too early to think about running so that you can be prepared and RUN SMART!

This Friday, February 15th, a mailing will be sent to all homes, which have not consented to the proposed changes in the Association’s documents, our CC&Rs and Bylaws.

Sixty-seven percent (67%) of our households need to agree to consent to the changes to enable them to become valid and allow Sun City Grand to better manage its future.  Every owner will benefit should these changes become valid.  A few benefits are:

  • Minimize future increases to our annual assessments.
  • Provides Board oversight of the Architectural Review Committee.
  • Mandates two signatures on all checks and contracts.
  • Allows the Neighborhood Rep program to become relevant.
  • Enables SCG to expand amenities and not become stagnant.
  • Will assist in maximizing the value of every home in SCG.

Look for a pink  (yes, pink!)  envelope in your mailbox next week and be sure to complete the form and mail it back to SCG in the enclosed postage-paid envelope right away.

This is important to each and every one of us and to the future of SCG.

REMINDER: The ARC Design Guidelines workshop is scheduled for Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. in the Mediterranean room in the Palm Center. Residents are welcomed and may participate in this process.

Our brisket is smoky, piled high on a bun, with sauce you can add, so your taste buds have fun!  The coleslaw is creamy and seasoned just right, it’s a perfect pairing, to cap off the night.
