Chartered Clubs are a key reason why life is so enjoyable and rewarding to our residents. To apply for Chartered Club status, the organization must have a minimum of 100 activity cardholders in good standing.
The Lifestyles Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing Chartered Club policies adopted by the SCGCA Board of Directors and for assisting Chartered Clubs with operational concerns.

These groups are available for Sun City Grand residents to join and include members from Sun City Grand as well as those living outside of the Grand Community. They are not sanctioned Sun City Grand groups.
Interest Groups are informal gatherings of SCG residents. They bring together residents with common interests, such as state of origin, specialized activities, ethnic background etc. Generally, these groups have less than 100 members but are sanctioned by the Board of Directors and are provided one or more rooms per year for their meetings and activities. Interest Groups with 100 or more paid members may make application for Chartered Club status. The Activities Department Lifestyles Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing Interest Group policies adopted by the SCGCA Board of Directors and for assisting Interest Groups with operational concerns.
