Association-Related Volunteer Opportunities
There are numerous ways residents can volunteer to assist the operation of the Association. For a description of volunteer positions and current availability, check the following:
C.H.A.P.S. is a group of volunteers from Sun City Grand that provides two services to residents:
- Evening Patrol - Volunteers patrol our streets at night helping identify suspicious activity.
- Vacation Watch - If you sign up for this service, while you are on vacation, C.H.A.P.S. volunteers will periodically inspect the outside of your home. They check doors and windows. They also pick up flyers and papers. Service is available to those who will be away from their homes for a period of 14 or more days.
The volunteers at SCG TV22 are dedicated to providing news, information and entertainment to fellow residents at Sun City Grand. All our programs are produced by Sun City Grand residents. These programs highlight the activities and interests of Grand residents. You may see our programs on Cox Cable channel 22. This group of volunteers spend many hours of their time trying to give you the best programming possible. Please support their efforts and let them know how much they are appreciated whenever you see them filming. If you would like to join the volunteers of TV22 (most of them never did any of this before they came to SCG so don't worry about the learning curve--they will train you!), please feel free to call Communications at 623-546-7502 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
